Tab Trade - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
