Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
