TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
